Our boutique lodge was newly renovated for the 2018/19 winter season.  Perfectly positioned at the top of the  No. 1 ski lift, guests enjoy ski-in/ski-out access to the Madarao and Tangram ski areas.

With just 7 beautifully appointed guest rooms (including 4 deluxe two-roomed suites, perfect for families) it's more like a luxury ski home than a hotel. We aim to ensure each one of our guests receives an unparalleled snow experience.

All our guest rooms are situated on the 2nd floor with views of the ski area or surrounding mountains. Larger than most in Japan, all rooms have private bathrooms, some with bathtubs, TVs with Netflix, plenty of storage, and comfortable western beds. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.

Each morning, enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast in our on-site cafe/restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling windows look across the snow to the lift — the perfect place to plan your day exploring the slopes of Mt. Madarao.

After the day's skiing, relax in our spacious guest lounge and enjoy the best aprés ski on-mountain in the Chill Bar, where you can choose from a range of classic and artisanal cocktails, freshly made glühwein, local craft beers, an extensive range of spirits and specially chosen wines, or a barista-made espresso or hot chocolate. Either stay in to dine in our restaurant or take a short walk to one of the various local restaurants, just ask our friendly staff for recommendations and bookings.
